Formulated to be low in dust to avoid damaging rats’ sensitive respiratory tract, and containing animal proteins, while natural prebiotics MOS and FOS stimulate beneficial gut bacteria and Yucca schidigera helps to reduce faecal odour. Added echinacea, green tea extract and spirulina support the immune system, while Omega 3 and 6 helps keep the heart and blood vessels in optimal condition. Instructions
Feeding advice: When changing your rat onto a new food it is important to do this gradually. Over a few days mix some old food in with Beaphar Care+® Rat to avoid causing any intestinal disturbance. The required amount of Beaphar Care+® is dependent upon the size and weight of your rat. The information below is a guide and may need to be adjusted to suit your rat’s requirements. Rats weighing between 200-500g: Feed 11-22g of food over 24 hours. Rats weighing between 500-800g: Feed 22-33g of food over 24 hours. After 24 hours, any uneaten food should be disposed of. Fresh drinking water should always be provided.
