The Beaphar Tick Pen allows owners to quickly, safely and easily remove ticks from cats and dogs pain-free. Ticks carry many diseases, including Lyme Disease. The longer a tick is attached, the greater the risk of bacterial or infection transmission, meaning quick and safe removal is important for our pets overall health. Small and compact, the Beaphar Tick Pen can easily fit in a pocket or bag, so is perfect for taking on dog walks to remove ticks while out and about. Suitable for removing both small and large ticks. For easier removal, use in conjunction with Beaphar Tick Away Spray. This is a non-toxic, insecticide-free spray that freezes ticks.

Instructions

ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LABEL AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. To safely remove a tick with the Beaphar Tick Pen: 1. Part the fur to expose the attached tick. 2. Put the V-shaped hook against the skin and slide the groove between the skin and tick. 3. Carefully pull the tick in a smooth upward motion to remove. Ensure all parts of the tick are removed. The wound made by the tick bite must be thoroughly cleaned. If there are any concerns over infection, it is important to contact your vet or doctor as soon as possible. If using with Beaphar Tick Away Spray, part the fur and spray from a distance of 5cm for approximately 3 seconds. The tick may fall off immediately or may take some time. If the tick remains attached after 3 hours, follow steps above to remove. Ensure you use the spray in a well-ventilated area.
