Description
Effective and easy-to-use, Beaphar WORMclear® Spot-On for Cats is a veterinary medicine available without prescription containing praziquantel, that combats tapeworm infestations commonly found in UK cats. Ideal for cats who don't like taking tablets, this spot-on cat wormer is simply applied to the back of the neck, between the shoulder blades. Hunting and eating infested prey, or ingesting fleas during grooming can be a common cause of tapeworm infestations; the spot-on is an ideal product to use to help prevent worm infestations from taking hold. It is recommended to worm your cat at least every 3 months. Pets at greater risk should be wormed between 4-12 times a year.* Suitable for cats and kittens weighing more than 1kg. Instructions
ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. Do not remove the tube from the sachet until you are ready to use the product. Weigh your cat carefully and use the following table to calculate the correct dose. Apply one tube per 2.5kg of bodyweight. Cats weighing 1–2.5kg: 1 tube Cats weighing >2.5–5kg: 2 tubes Cats weighing >5kg: 3 tubes 1.Use the easy-peel corners to remove the tube from its blister pack. 2.Hold the pipette in an upright position, twist and pull the cap off. 3.Turn the cap over and use the other side to break the tube seal by pushing down and twisting the cap. 4.Part your cat’s fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the tube onto the skin. 5.Squeeze the tube several times to empty its contents completely and directly onto the skin. Do not allow children to play with your cat, or recently treated animals to groom each other, until the fur is fully dry. It is recommended to worm your cat at least every 3 months. Pets at greater risk should be wormed between 4-12 times a year.* Ensure sources of tapeworm reinfestation (fleas & mice) are removed. Do not exceed the stated dose. | Storage and safety | Keep tubes stored in the box until ready to use. Keep away from food and drink, including animal feeding stuffs. After use, replace the cap on the tube and dispose of empty tubes in the household rubbish immediately after use. The solvent in the product may stain certain materials, including leather, fabrics, plastics and finished materials. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Should accidental eye contact occur, rinse immediately with clean, fresh water and seek medical advice if irritation persists. Do not smoke, eat or drink while handling the product. Do not allow children to play with your cat until the fur is fully dry. KEEP OUT OF SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN. For animal treatment only.
