Description
Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Cats is a veterinary medicine, available without prescription, that helps control fleas and ticks. Containing fipronil, this spot-on treatment kills fleas within 24 hours and ticks within 48 hours. Apply monthly for continuous flea protection. Suitable for cats from 8 weeks of age and weighing at least 1kg Used routinely, Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On for Cats can help protect your cat from fleas. However, if your cat already has fleas the following steps will help you get on top of it. 1. Treat all pets in the home with a suitable flea treatment 2. Reapply treatment at the recommended interval, Beaphar FIPROtec® Spot-On should be repeated every 4 weeks for continuous protection 3. Vacuum floors and soft furnishings and wash pet’s bedding at 60°C regularly 4. Treat the house with a long-lasting household flea spray, such as Beaphar FLEAtec Household Flea Spray 5. Instructions
ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. Do not remove the pipette from the foil blister until you are ready to use the product. Weigh your cat carefully before application to ensure they weigh 1kg or more. 1. Use the easy-peel corners to remove the pipette from its blister pack. 2. Holding the pipette upright, tap the neck section to ensure the contents fall back into the body of the pipette. 3. Carefully snip off the top of the pipette using scissors. 4. Part your cat’s fur between the shoulder blades and place the tip of the pipette onto the skin. 5. Apply half the pipette between the shoulder blades and apply half at the base of the neck, directly onto the skin. Do not allow children to play with your pet until the fur is fully dry. For continuous protection, reapply every four weeks.

| Product precautions | Do not use on cats less than 8 weeks old or weighing less than 1 kg. Do not use simultaneously with other flea treatments. For external use only. Avoid contact with the animal’s eyes. In case of accidental eye contact, immediately and thoroughly flush the eyes with water. Do not apply to wounds or damaged skin. Avoid excessive wetting of the fur. If stickiness occurs, this will disappear within 24 hours. Apply the product in a position where your cat cannot lick it off. Avoid frequent swimming or shampooing. In a multi-pet household, ensure treated animals cannot groom each other following treatment and that all animals are treated with a suitable insecticide. Fleas from pets often infest the animal’s basket, bedding & regular resting areas, such as carpets and soft furnishings, which should be treated with a household insecticide and vacuumed regularly. |
