This insecticidal dog shampoo is a veterinary medicinal shampoo containing permethrin, developed for effective, fast-acting flea control and to help prevent flea reinfestation when used as directed. Suitable for dogs over 12 weeks of age. Formulated to support routine coat care, Beaphar Insecticidal Shampoo for Dogs helps leave the coat feeling clean and well cared for after use, making it a practical choice during periods of flea challenge. It is designed to target fleas on the dog while also supporting coat condition, with a formula that cleanses as it works. Fleas can also persist in the home environment, with eggs and larvae commonly found in pet baskets, bedding and regular resting areas, including carpets and soft furnishings. Using an appropriate household flea treatment alongside a dog flea shampoo can help reduce the risk of repeat infestations. Instructions
It is advisable to wear gloves when using this product. Gently wet your dog’s coat with lukewarm water. Using the suggested dose in the table below, massage the shampoo into the coat, taking care to avoid sensitive areas, such as the eyes, mouth and ears. Work into a good lather, especially around the neck area and the base of the tail where fleas tend to gather. Rinse carefully with lukewarm water and then dry your pet. Keep indoors until completely dry. SUGGESTED SHAMPOO DOSE: Small Breeds 20 – 30 ml Medium Breeds 40 – 50 ml Large Breeds 50 – 60 ml Use the larger volume for long coats. DO NOT USE ON CATS.
