Help rabbits feel safe and secure in their surroundings. The Beaphar RabbitComfort® Calming Spray is a simple, effective and fast-acting solution to help reduce stress and anxiety in rabbits while travelling, changes in their home environment and stress-related behaviour. The Beaphar RabbitComfort® Calming Spray is a rabbit pheromone spray that uses scientifically recognised pheromone technology, and contains a copy of the naturally produced Rabbit Appeasing Pheromone (RAP). RAP is naturally produced by the mother when she nurses her kits. RAP triggers an instinctive calming response, giving the kits a continuous, reassuring message, and is a crucial part of the bonding process. RAP is instantly recognisable to all rabbits, even if they were hand-reared. As prey animals, signs of stress in rabbits are often subtle, and may include hiding, reduced appetite, thumping or aggressive behaviour. A stressed rabbit may also show signs of anxiety due to changes in routine, loud noises or travel. Once applied to an area or object, the spray works quickly, creating a calming effect around 15 minutes after application, that continues reassuring your rabbit for up to 5 hours. It is ideal to use inside cars, rabbit carriers and on blankets ahead of travelling or vet visits to help rabbits feel calmer. It can also be used inside hutches and rabbit houses when moving to new hutch or transitioning from indoor to outdoor living, helping rabbits to feel more comfortable with their new environment. The spray can also be helpful to apply to blankets or inside hutches ahead of stressful events such as bonfire night, to help them cope during fireworks. Suitable for all breeds and ages of rabbit.

Instructions

ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LEAFLET AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. Apply approximately 9 sprays per application, and wait 15 minutes before exposing the area to your rabbit. Before use, spray on an inconspicuous area to check for colour fastness. Beaphar RabbitComfort® Calming Spray lasts up to five hours and can be reapplied as necessary. Beaphar RabbitComfort® Calming Spray is suitable to be used in many situations, some of which include: • On blankets and inside pet carriers and/or the car 15 minutes before travelling to help rabbits feel less anxious during the journey • Inside hutches when moving to a new rabbit house, or transitioning between indoor and outdoor living to help rabbits settle in more quickly • Targeted areas in the home, to help prevent urine marking, furniture chewing, and other destructive behaviour • Any object in contact with your rabbit, on furniture or on new objects to help prevent unwanted behaviour • Use ahead of stressful situations, such as fireworks or bonfire night, to help rabbits feel less anxious When using in pet carriers, hutches or other confined spaces, you must wait 15 minutes before placing your rabbit inside. Don't spray pet carriers or hutches while your rabbit is inside, and don't apply the spray directly onto your rabbit. Don’t use on gnawing or chew toys as this may prevent your rabbit from using them.
