Choosing the right cat calming product for different stressful situations

At Beaphar, we understand that every pet is different, which is why we offer two complementary calming ranges, both of which can help reduce stress and anxiety in cats. Our pheromone-based Beaphar CatComfort® range uses pheromone technology, while the Beaphar StressLess Herbal Calming Range uses natural plant-based ingredients which are well-known for their calming properties and are often used in human healthcare to reduce stress and anxiety, such as Valerian, Lavender and Melissa. This means you can choose the approach that best suits your cat, or even use the ranges alongside each other for complete support.

For reducing conflict in multi-pet households, promoting harmonious living and encouraging bonding

Cats are naturally solitary animals and can find living in multi-pet homes difficult. Alongside making sure your cat/s have their own space to hide away, make sure you enough food and water bowls and litter trays, One of the biggest causes of stress for cats in multi-pet households is a lack of resources. It’s recommended to have the same number of bowls and litter trays as you have cats, plus one extra.

To help reduce stress and conflict and promote harmonious living, we recommend using a diffuser plug in. Beaphar CatComfort® Excellence Pheromone Calming Diffuser contains the Maternal Appeasing Pheromone (MAP) which helps promote bonding and harmony in households with more than one cat, whilst the Beaphar StressLess Herbal Calming Diffuser offers a plant-based alternative, providing continuous calming support. Beaphar StressLess Herbal Calming Treats can also be used at the same time to provide daily calming support or additional reassurance during stressful situations and create positive associations with the new arrival.

Additionally, Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spray provides pheromone support, or if you prefer a plant-based option, the StressLess Herbal Calming Spray used on pets bedding can be used to help reduce tension during introductions and support harmonious living in multi-pet households.
