The Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spot-On is a simple, effective and fast-acting solution for cats to help reduce stress, anxiety and normal but unwanted behaviour in cats, and promote harmonious living in multi-pet households. The Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spot-On is a cat pheromone spot-on that uses scientifically recognised pheromone technology, and contains a copy of the naturally produced Maternal Appeasing Pheromone (MAP). MAP is naturally produced by the queen when she nurses her kittens. MAP triggers an instinctive calming response, giving the kittens a continuous reassuring message, and is a crucial part of the bonding process. MAP is instantly recognisable to all cats, even if they were hand-reared. Cats may show signs of stress or anxiety for many different reasons. Some are obvious, such as anxiety due to travelling, loud noises like fireworks or vet visits, but others may be less obvious, such as changes in routine or at home, which can contribute to unwanted behaviour, such as furniture scratching or urine spraying. Long-term stress in cats can occasionally lead to clinical illness, so it’s important to try and reduce stress and anxiety wherever possible, and pheromone calming products are an easy way to achieve this. Once applied, the spot-on works quickly, creating a calming effect around 15 minutes after application that will travel with your cat for up to one week. As cats are naturally solitary animals, this can be particularly valuable in multi-cat households, helping to promote harmonious living. It’s also ideal for unexpected or short-medium term stressful situations, like fireworks, vet visits and travelling. Suitable for all breeds and ages of cat. For additional calming support, Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spot-On can be used in combination with other Beaphar calming products.

Instructions

ALWAYS FULLY READ THE PRODUCT LABEL AND PACKAGING BEFORE USE. Do not remove the pipette from the blister until you are ready to use the product. 1. Holding the pipette upright, tap the neck section to ensure the contents fall back into the body of the pipette. 2. Carefully snip off the top of the pipette using scissors. 3. Apply the contents of one pipette to the top of your cat’s head, between the ears. The spot-on must be applied at least 15 minutes before a potentially stressful situation. If your cat gets very wet, such as in heavy rain or following a bath, reapply the drops as the calming effect may be diminished. If you use a spot-on flea product, this is usually applied between the animal's shoulder blades. Take care to apply the Beaphar CatComfort® Calming Spot-On in a different place to the flea product, ideally between the ears. If this is not possible it is advisable to leave 48 hours between applying the two products.
